Recap of P6 WA1 Resources & Recordings
WA1 starting this week, all the best! Here's a recap of all WA1 resources for P6s.
Happy Tuesday!
All the best for WA1 – you guys got this! 💪🏼 You’ve put in the effort, and now it’s time to put it into action.
Over the weekend, we ran live walkthroughs of the WA1 mock papers for English, Maths, Science and Chinese. Each session was just an hour long, so while we couldn’t cover everything, we focused on key exam questions, common mistakes to avoid and essential strategies to tackle them. There were tons of great questions in the Q&A and chat, and we answered as many as we could!
Here’s a recap of all the resources available, along with the recordings of the sessions below:
WA1 exam papers: The best way to prepare is to simulate the real exam. Set a timer, sit down and go through the paper without distractions within the time limit. This helps you get used to the time constraints and exam formats.
WA1 answer keys: The solutions provided outline how marks are awarded, so you can see exactly where you gained or lost marks. Instead of just memorising solutions, take time to analyse where you lost marks and why. A useful habit is to revisit past mistakes a few weeks later to check if you’ve really understood them.
Progress report tool: This tool breaks down your scores across different topics and difficulty levels, helping you see where you’re doing well and where you might need more practice.
Review session recordings: Before watching, make sure you’ve attempted the papers and gone through the answer keys. That way, you’ll get the most out of the explanations.
Also, last Friday, we opened up the conversation in our Telegram community. If there’s anything on your mind – how to study smarter, tricky topics, managing time and stress, or even small things like the best study music, drop your questions here. We’d love to help where we can.
All the best for WA1! Stay focused, and keep going.
