Weighted Assessment 1: Solutions, Progress Report and Walkthrough Reviews
Release of Weighted Assessment 1 mock paper solutions, progress report tool and an upcoming live walkthrough review.
Last weekend, we released a few weighted assessment exam papers for you to prepare for the upcoming WA1. Hope you’ve had the chance to get to them!
WA1 solutions & progress report tool
We’ve uploaded the solutions here. It clearly outlines how marks are awarded so you can see exactly how much you scored for each question, even if you didn’t get full marks.
Additionally, the progress report tool breaks down how you’ve scored across all topics/components and difficulty levels in our weighted assessment paper.
Enter your marks in the “Mark Sheet” tab.
View the auto-generated report on the “Progress Report” tab.
From the report, you’ll identify strong areas and topics or components needing more focus.
Also, see whether you’re struggling with:
Basic Questions – Tests conceptual understanding; gaps here mean fundamental concepts need reinforcement.
Medium Questions – Common exam-style questions; difficulties here indicate a need for more practice with standard applications.
Challenging Questions – Non-routine and difficult questions that distinguish top scorers; use this to gauge your ability to tackle advanced problems.
Live walkthrough reviews
UPDATE: Live walkthrough review dates, times and details have been finalised. Register here and view the post below for more details on the sessions.
P6 WA1 is just round the corner, and we want to do more for you guys! We’re thinking of organising a live walkthrough review of the WA1 mock papers where we’ll go through key questions, discuss common mistakes and clarify any doubts you may have.
Let us know in the Telegram discussion here if that’s going to be useful for you, and what else you’re looking for!
Thank you for the wonderful resources! This is really helpful! My child has some questions regarding English Compre Cloze, for example, checking if some alternative words are acceptable. What's the best way to do that?
